Experience the rich rustic flavors of Calabria the right way..

With the two night package: arrive in the early evening at your hotel, where you can enjoy a drink and take in the famous Calabrese sunset on the terrace. Dine in one of the local trattorias in the nearby town. Arise in the morning and enjoy the ocean view during breakfast. 

From the hotel your first stop will be a grand frantoio, where you will taste some of the finest olive oils in Calabria, tour the facilities, and see how the harvesting process takes you from tree-to-bottle. Enjoy lunch beneath the olive trees using some of the freshest ingredients from the surrounding farms.

Your next stop: A beautiful Calabrian Vineyard- where you will tour the estate, try their wines, and enjoy an aperitif with a lovely view of the grounds before returning back to your hotel for dinner.

Day two: After breakfast you will be taken to a local cheese producer, where you will watch and even participate in the making of some of the freshest and richest tasting cheeses in Southern Italy. Meet the local farmers in the surrounding area and try some of the freshest local organic produce. Enjoy a picnic of local delicacies whilst taking in the freshest of air.  

After enjoying the local farms, you will be taken to the home of Amarelli Licorice. A well kept secret of Italy; Ameralli Licorice is well known across Europe and even in some parts of America. Visit the museum and see where the production all started. Stop in the boutique to try some exclusive sweets and liquors. Take a walk through the village of Rossano and see the medieval Church of Maria del Patir.

Finish off the evening at the hotel restaurant with a tasting menu of fresh local ingredients offered by the chef.
